As with everyone we have our ups and downs, but one thing remains constant... We love each other and wouldn't change our lives for the world! These are some of the memories we would like to share with you. I hope you enjoy!

The YMCA
The YMCA was having a special that allowed me to join without paying a membership fee, so I decided to join at least for the summer. I was very hesitant about putting Kelsie in the childcare area, because I didn't know how she would react. Mike and I decided to take a tour of the facility and while we did we put Kelsie in the childcare area. She walked in like she had been going there for years! I was so impressed that she didn't even look back when we left the area. When we came back she was busy playing with a puzzle and they said she did great the whole time! I can't wait to start working out there!

Timmy's Birthday Party
Our friends Denise and Martin's son Timmy turned one and we went to his birthday today at the park. It was a perfect day for it and the kids had a blast. They got to play on the playground, bust a pinata, and have cake what more could a kid ask for! :) Although it was during nap time Kelsie had a great time. She wasn't even ready to leave despite the fact that we were there for almost 3 hours! She just loves being outside anyway, but when you add a playground and party she was happy as could be.
After the party Kelsie still wasn't tuckered out. We ate dinner and she spent the rest of the evening playing with Nick and Sophia outside. I couldn't believe she had enough energy to run around with them after all the activity that went on today. I am not complaining though, because we all had a wonderful day filled with lots of fun!
Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
Since all the neighbor kids (Nick, Sophia, and Kelsie) were going to be around for Easter weekend we decided to have them do multiple Easter egg hunts. This morning was the neighborhood one we planned. Each house had 24 eggs hidden in the front yard and then we let the kids have at it. They all did really well, but they kept following each other instead of spreading out to find the eggs. It took them quite a while to find all the eggs, because we did hide some pretty well. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't any fighting over eggs and they all came out with enough to fill their baskets.
Once the three of them had found all the eggs, Kelsie and Sophia started taking turns hiding their eggs for the each other to find. Nick stayed out and searched for a little while, but then he was done so the girls continued to take turns hiding their eggs from each other. We started the egg hunt around 10 and they were still enjoying hiding eggs for each other to find when we finally decided to go in for lunch around noon! It was such a fun morning and it was a great way to keep the kids out playing and enjoying the beautiful weather we had today!
Coloring Eggs
We got together with our neighbors yesterday to dye some Easter Eggs. It was Kelsie's first time and she wasn't really sure about it at first. She seemed to enjoy it, but she definitely took the speed dying approach. She would put the egg in the dye for a couple of seconds pull it out and be done with it. She had no interest in trying to let it sit and darken like Nick and Sophia would. Everyone had a good time and it was a perfect activity for such a dreary day.
Kelsie's School Easter Party
Thursday was Kelsie's school Easter Party. She was so excited about it for days before it actually happened, because her teacher told the kids she was making mini cupcakes for the party. I always enjoy the school parties too, because I get to see her interact with her teachers and classmates which I don't have a chance to do very often. She had a great time and had no trouble leaving to go to tumblebus afterward despite the fact that I was there. The only thing she seemed to get upset about was that I hung out on the playground with some of the other parents without her while she was at tumblebus. I explained quickly that I was there waiting for her and she seemed to accept that, but she still didn't seem to like me being on the playground without her!:)
