Fun Filled Friday

We had a fun filled day on Friday. It started out with a wonderful play date with our friends Tiffany and Emma. The girls had a blast! Usually there is some fighting over toys or some squabbling about what they want to do, that just comes with the territory with kids this age. I was pleasantly surprised that the girls for the most part agreed on what to do and shared very well. They even gave each other a hug when it was time for them to leave. I can't wait for the next play date with them!



After they left we had some lunch and a much needed nap. Then we went to Sophia and Heather's house for a terrific talent show. They had a stage setup for everyone and several of the moms, dads, and kids from our moms group came to watch the performance. Most of the kids got up to perform at some point including Kelsie. She decided to do a puppet show of sorts along to some music, so she wouldn't have to stand on the stage. You could definitely see her little smile just inside the curtain. She was so proud of herself. The talent show was a huge success and I hope we get the opportunity to do more play dates like that soon!
